Privacy Policy
KINETK provides resume, LinkedIn, interview-prep, ATS review, and related career-positioning services. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and how you can contact us about your information.

- Contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, city, state, and basic account or order details.
- Career materials, such as resumes, LinkedIn profile content, job descriptions, target roles, work history, education, certifications, projects, accomplishments, compensation context, interview notes, and other materials you choose to send.
- Order and payment information, such as selected service, billing status, transaction metadata, and checkout details processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on KINETK servers.
- Communications, such as emails, form submissions, call notes, text messages, feedback, testimonials, file uploads, and support requests.
- Website and analytics information, such as pages visited, referring pages, approximate location, device/browser information, and form interaction events.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, passport numbers, banking credentials, medical records, protected health information, immigration documents, background-check records, or other information that is not needed for the service. If those details appear in a document you send, we may remove, redact, or ignore them where practical.
We use personal information to run the business and deliver the service you requested, including:
- Reviewing, rewriting, formatting, tailoring, and quality-checking career materials.
- Creating ATS reviews, LinkedIn recommendations, interview-prep materials, proposals, and client deliverables.
- Communicating about orders, uploads, drafts, revisions, scheduling, delivery, billing, and support.
- Processing payments, preventing fraud, maintaining business records, and resolving disputes.
- Improving our website, forms, workflows, client experience, and service quality.
- Sending marketing or educational emails when you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Complying with legal obligations and protecting the rights, safety, and security of KINETK, clients, and service providers.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent your resume, LinkedIn profile, or career materials to recruiters, advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
KINETK may use software, automation, and AI-assisted tools to analyze job descriptions, compare resumes to target roles, draft materials, check formatting, and improve quality. These tools are used only to provide or improve KINETK services.
We do not knowingly publish your private career materials or submit them to public job boards without your direction. We do not authorize service providers to use your materials for their own marketing or unrelated resale.
We share personal information only where needed to operate KINETK, deliver services, or comply with law. This may include:
- Payment processors, including Stripe, to process checkout and payment records.
- Hosting, form, and website providers, including Netlify, to host the site and receive submissions.
- Email and communication providers, including ConvertKit or similar tools, to send order messages, updates, and opt-in marketing emails.
- Analytics providers, including Umami Analytics, to understand website usage.
- Document, productivity, and delivery tools used to create, store, review, and send client materials.
- Professional, legal, tax, accounting, or security advisors when needed for business operations, compliance, or dispute handling.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Service providers are expected to use personal information only for the work they perform for KINETK or as their own privacy terms allow for the service you use directly, such as Stripe checkout.
Payments are handled by Stripe or another secure payment provider. KINETK may receive payment status, customer contact details, selected service, transaction ID, and limited billing metadata. Full card numbers are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by KINETK.
KINETK uses privacy-conscious analytics to understand site traffic and improve pages. We may also use basic technical tools needed for forms, checkout, security, and site performance. Browser settings may let you block or delete cookies, but some checkout, form, or security features may not work correctly.
Testimonials or examples may be published for marketing purposes, including but not limited to: our company website, social networks, marketing and promotional emails. We may use aggregate business metrics, such as number of reviews or general result patterns, without identifying individual clients.
We keep personal information for as long as needed to deliver services, respond to you, maintain business records, improve quality, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations. Retention periods vary by record type.
You can request deletion of your personal information. We will delete or de-identify information where reasonably possible, subject to records we need to keep for legal, payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, backup, or legitimate business reasons.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, request correction, request deletion, opt out of marketing emails, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, or ask for more information about how your data is used.
California residents may have additional rights under California privacy laws, including the right to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and avoid discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights, if those laws apply to KINETK. KINETK does not sell personal information.
Delaware residents may have additional rights under the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act if that law applies to KINETK, including rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of personal data, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or certain profiling decisions. KINETK does not sell personal information.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for personal information, including access limits, secure payment processing, and service-provider controls. No website, email system, file-transfer method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
KINETK services are intended for adults and job seekers who can legally purchase or request career services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will review the request.
The site may link to third-party websites, checkout pages, social platforms, job boards, or resources. Those websites have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting information to them.
We may update this policy as our services, tools, laws, or business practices change. The "Last updated" date above shows when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the site or services after an update means the revised policy applies going forward.
